Decorating Our Place - Night out in Paris!

Hey guys, so here are some more additions to our house. A zebra print container for storage (that I DO NOT need what so ever) that I got just because of its looks. Also this lovely painting of Audrey Hepburn,  who doesn't love her right?  She's hanging on my wall now :)

I finally went to Homegoods for these two things and I now LOOOVE that store for home accents.

This is a bookshelf in black that I got so I can store all my books for school and for fun reading.  We needed a lot more things downstairs, so this month is all about Home Deco.

Now this is HUGE painting that we got at Ikea today of Paris. (part of my theme). Gosh I freakin love Ikea so much, it puts me in such a great mood when I'm decorating.

This painting was $60.00 I acually wanted one of the Iffel tower that is $200. To expensive at the moment and we dont have space for it because of the Christmas tree.  So after the holidays hubby said he was going to get it for me.

Here we are again with "What I Wore"

It was a pretty hot day, like 85 degrees, and yes I'm wearing a leather jacket lol. I didn't think it was going to be this hot when I stepped out. whoops. Needless to say, I took the jacket off.

Pretty comfy, something I would wear for class.

Bumming around

I know this isn't the most inspiring of outfits but sometimes it's nice to bum around and not worry about looking cute. I'd be lying if I said I always look stylish and put together. There are many occasions where I have left the house looking a mess and sometimes that's how I like it. I can't possibly be inspired all day everyday, I'd loose mind if I worried about my outfits all the time. So here I am with no make-up, unruly hair, coffee cup in hand, in all my messy yet comfortable glory.

I spent Thanksgiving with my boyfriend's family at their beautiful ranch in the Santa Cruz area. They have so much, yet remain so humble and spoil their children with love rather than money.

These were taken during one of our morning strolls. The property is bordered by vineyards on all sides and during this time of year the scenery is especially breathtaking with all of the fall colors radiating from the vines.

Ready for Christmas

What a great way to start the day than with some Christmas Shopping! Anyway here is the quick outfit of the day, again,  excuse the long face, not even a sincere smile he he.

There will bea  tutorial on how to wear a beret so they stay in your head all day. (coming up this week.) I try to film a few videos through out the weekend so I can have some videos to upload while I'm busy at school.

This is the tattoo that I get many questions about, its my second name, " Candy". I got it a few days before I left to Iraq in 2006. This was my first and last tattoo (at the moment ha ha) hubby doesn't like tattoo and my parent don't either. Anyway, my friend Ginger (who's in the Army as well) and I went together  to get our first tattoo. It felt sooo good and I felt addicted. But seriously, this tat was permeant mistake. Come on, I think I know my own name lol.

I always have wanted to get "How deep is your love?' tatted one day, I'm just not sure were.

So we went on our hunt for a Christmas tree. We found the perfect one.  I always wonder of the trees talk to each other and say " Pick me, pick me."..."Yes, I got picked"...."Bye guys, I hope ya'll find an owner too."

Yes, I sound crazy but hey, you never know.

We went to Walmart for some tree decorations, this years theme was GOLD only. Last year was gold and silver but we wanted one solid color all around.

And knowing me, the cart slowly started to fill up with thing we didn't go for.

Like a new black rug and a book shelf. LOL

And here it is. The lovely Christmas tree! Jesse and I always have a great time doing things like this together.

I have to admit, my man is great at decorating. I just love being in my living room with all the lights of except the Christmas tree.

Of course, I had to get some Christmas earrings and pendants. Aren't these freaking cute? I can't wait to wear the.

Thanksgiving Outfit

A year ago today, I was in Killeen Tx, still in the Military and away from my family.  The only loved one that I was close with was my boyfriend Jesse.  He and I had already been living together for 2 years, a year ago.  He and I spend it with his friend and his crazy girlfriend.  Her and I made a small dinner and then we all drank eggnog. First time I ever had it, and it was good. Anyway this Thanksgiving has been the first with my family since I left to the Army in 2006.  Being away from my family for 3 years really made me appreciate them

Anyway, I did a small self shot photo-shoot ha ha to show you the outfit that I put together for this event.
