Stay in and order some Chinese ...

  • I have a hunger for some Chinese food.
  • There is some very special news on the way, blog wise, that is. And I can't wait to share it all with you!!
  • I love Odwalla's protein drinks. I swear they should endorse me. I always have at least 3 stocked in the fridge at all times.
  • I wish with all my heart to have Princess Sparkle. (flickr)

  • My Valentine's Day plans? Cake, chocolates, a small family gathering, and a really fun surprise (that I hope to unveil in the blog soon!)
  • You are listening to the original score from the Sex and the City movie. Aaron Zigman is genius!

Weardrobe Challenge #1: American Apparel Circle Scarf

Suz and Rich of Weardrobe contacted me to invent a few different ways of wearing this lovely purple American Apparel circle scarf that they generously sent my way. We're calling it the Sisterhood of the Traveling Scarf! And this was my first "cozy look" taken just after a wonderful Chinese lunch. Here I am clad in my glasses and a houndstooth print newsboy cap. It was a chilly afternoon, so a sweater and my favorite ankle hi Minnetonka trampers helped in completing my cozy wares.

Morning Glory in Gray

I am not a morning person.. but.. I so love an early morning when I can have toasted (plain) English muffins with strawberry jam and butter which I then proceed to "dunk" into my Mocha café. I love waking up early to go to Disney world, pulling on sweats for class, warm chocolate croissants, watching MTV with breakfast, staying in bed with a really good song on my iPod, today's was "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay haha! Here's to those wonderful gray early mornings.

A Bohemian Princess for Halloween

In the spirit of the holiday, I started my morning with chocolate brownie moisturizing shampoo. And instantly began the day after a homemade cinnamon latte, with mocha mixed in.

Thinking of Halloweens past, I remember when I was Little Red Riding Hood in the 4th grade. Minnie Mouse in the 5th grade (my little brother was Mickey!) And my favorite, a Ballerina Princess (tiara, tutu, wand and all) when I was 6 years old. I thought it fit to have a Princess theme tied in with Bohemia and my ever present favorite, Pocahontas, for this year.

Happy Halloween! Have fun. Be safe! Trick or treat; hope you get something good to eat. ;) I have a dinner party to attend. Until next time, Ciao! my lovelies....

Bohemian Like You

Feeling in a Bohemian mood, I turned to my brown 3-layer fringed Minnetonka boots. I'm sure many of you remember this dress. I thought the pop of color would complement the boots well. A few golden accents, and voila! instant frivolity.

On a side note, when you get the chance, I highly recommend checking out The Supermelon. They have recently updated their look, Bookshelf, & Have a Fresh Talk with Jack Siegel, along with the addition of a forum.

Have a fabulous TGIF and weekend, lovelies! Ciao!

Textbook Love

My Birthday is less than a week away. I'm so excited. Can't decide between going out for Greek or Italian that night. Thoughts? I hope I am surprised with a vanilla cake topped off with vanilla frosting, sprinkles and strawberries. OPa!

Call me Crazy for Minnetonka!

I don't know what it is about them. I just seem to have some kind of arduous affection for these shoes. I even had a dream last night that I got the Balmain style with the heel. They're my reverie, actually. I just have no idea if those impetuously gorgeous Balmain booties are even available to the public yet. But for now, my 12+ collection of Minnetonka boots will have to suffice. I can literally spend hours online intently looking at candids of stylish filles donning their own pair of Minnetonka boots. And for those always asking where I get mine from... Zappos.com.
