Forever 21 Collaboration and More
Not too long ago I wrote about a possible collaboration with Forever 21 and their blog The Skinny . Now I can finally show you what I was talking about. Today they launched their new themed collection that is available online. They asked me and two other lovely bloggers to style a piece from their new collection.
I love this little dress they sent over and I think it's perfect with a little bustier over it. I have been dying to play with the underwear as outerwear trend.
(dress-Forever 21, bustier-UO, stockings-H&M, shoes- Aldo, jewelry= Forever 21)
The lovely and stylish CaliVintage did a sweet little feature on me , check it out and stop by her etsy shop ( it's full of vintage treasures).
Here is another little feature over at Fashion Questions

Crop It
(top-AA via clothing swap, trousers-H&M, belt-vintage, shoes-Implo, jewelry-F21/vintage,sunglasses-vintage)
As you can see my pension for crop tops is continuing despite the chilly San Francisco summer. I got this top from the Chictopia clothing swap this weekend along with some killer 80's shorts and a stunning floral blazer. I am very excited to play around with my new pieces as they are both a challenge to style.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Lately I have been lusting over simple silk tanks and black velvet. Anyone else developing the same obsession?
P.S. Enter my contest below for a chance to win a Mink Pink fringe vest.

Coastalscents HAUL
I did lil shopping last night at 1:30am..yeah in the freakin morning. I couldn't go to sleep so I was like...mmmm yeah lets do some online shopping...but you know what, I feel good about this. Usually when I do "Im Bored" shopping i regret it later..But not this time. Okay, so i don't need anymore brushes but what can I say, a girl can never have enough. Since im doing freelance makeup, I thought I would need some more brushes. I also bought the 12 sigma brushes for my kit so will see how those work out. Anyway I just placed the order last night so as soon as i recive the package, Ill do a haul video and show yall. Well take care hunny bunZ....XOXO Dulce Candy
deep plum gel linerProfessional Camouflage Concealer Palette- Now this palette of concealer is also a need for MY makeup kit. I have many concealers for my personal collection and Im sure not all my clients have my skin tone. So, this should be a good one. It has from very fair skin tones to chocolaty dark skin concealers. The light ones look like powder but i doubt it.
This is the 88 warm palette. I got this palette because it has so many diff. warm and neutrals. This would be perfect to add to my kit. Incase I have a wedding to do or something very formal. Love this palette, it even has a black matte shadow for sultry smokey eyes. You cant go wrong that.
Contest and Blogger Meet Up
Hello my lovely readers! Today I have something very special
to offer you. I am hosting my very own contest and giving away this amazing Mink Pink vest. This baby is a pretty trendy item right now but if styled the right way it can definitely last through the seasons.
To enter the contest you must leave a comment with the word VEST at the top and a few reasons descrbing why you like this piece. You must be a U.S. resident (sorry!). I will run the contest for 15 days and you can leave up to three comments per person on this post. At the end of the contest I will use a randomizer to generate the winning comment. If you do not have a blog where I can contact you, please leave your email.
If the winner's size in this particular item is no longer available, the winner will be able to choose any item from this designer. Thank you for understanding and good luck!

Little Plastic Horses features Fashion Chalet
Rocketing back and forth from classic to trendsetting, Erika of Fashion Chalet has an innate sense of style worth studying. A quick glimpse through the Archives showcases: sturdy boots, leg flattering minis, cheeky prints and one-of-a-kind ensembles. A quick peek into the blog of Fashion Chalet suggests that Erika thoroughly enjoys dressing up and taking risks that work!
Erika doesn't garner one look, she encompasses them all. I was lucky enough to steal Erika away for a few minutes to ask her some questions.
1. Thousands visit your blog for inspiration. Which blogs do you frequent?
I visit quite a few, if it weren't for bloglovin' I don't know how I could possibly keep up. These stand out right now: Inside Mode, Le Cheap c'est Chic, Amarillo-blogg, tumblr, Cartoon Styles, KnightCat, Little Plastic Horses!!!! Olsens Anonymous and Le Fashion Image.
2. Emergency!!!! You can only save 3 pieces from your wardrobe. What are they?
Sam Edelman ankle booties, Jewelry box, Cheap Monday skinny jeans.
3. Music! There's always an excellent selection playing at Fashion Chalet. Explain what you like and why.
Thank you. I pull from television series a lot, as well as my own personal playlists. I tend to be all over the map with music. Whatever has a great beat or lyrics attracts me to keep listening and grooving to a tune.
4. How do you go about styling your outfits? Where do you start?
I used to work around the shoes, but sometimes I'll work around a particular piece of clothing. It all depends on the weather and my mood. But usually I grab a piece; be it clothes or shoes and construct around that.
5. Favorite stores? And favorite things about each one?
Forever 21 best accessories and cutest shoes for even better prices. Urban Outfitters for up-to-the-minute trends. Nordstrom and Barneys for designer pieces to mix in with vintage. I also love thrift stores and vintage boutiques for the unexpected.
6. You twitter often about food, is it another passion? Why?
Yes it is. I took a Culinary class in between College and University and enjoyed it immensely. My two passions after fashion are cooking and learning new languages. So far I speak English, French and Spanish. As far as cooking goes, I'm better at cooking than baking. I dabble a lot in Italian, Chinese and seafood.
7. If you could invent your own clothing line, what would the collection look like? I've always envisioned something part Grecian with touches of Gypsy embellishments. Long, flowy pieces; yet airy in fabric. As for shoes, the more platform the better; and I would enjoy bringing the wedge shoe back in circulation.
8. To your readers, you would like to say:
I read all of your comments through email and always find myself giddy with excitement after a new post, just waiting to hear all of your feedback. I try my best to reply as often as I can. You guys are all what make taking photos in the hot sun more than worthwhile. I love you!!! Thank you. :)

I am Full of It Today
Check out the crazy new Marc Jacobs ad campaign, it has that "I grabbed my crappy camera and snapped away during my fabulous three day drug binge" feeling to it. As a true Marc Jacobs enthusiast I love it, I love everything he does.
For more pics check out Fashionologie.
The 80's hooker look is really catching my eye right now.

Fendi in a Fog
Jessica Stam for the Fendi Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Ad Campaign.
I like the Man of Mystery and the fog plussss all of the furs (faux or not) it's just so lovely and luxury looking. I believe Karl Lagerfeld took these images himself? :)
