9 Facts of Life, my Life.. x Twice the Tags!

I was tagged by two very special, very lovely ladies today. Cameron of Stardust and Sequins and Laura of Daisy Chain Dreams. And since I actually have some time to sit down and do them, I figured why not? They were both pretty fun to do too. I tag everyone and anyone who wants to take part. Have fun!

Tag (#1)
Cameron asked me to list 9 unknown facts that I could share about myself:

1. Teen Wolf was my favorite movie as a kid. I watched it incessantly, according to my Mom.
2. Johnny Quest, The Gummi Bears and The Smurfs were my favorite cartoons as a kid. To be honest, Johnny Quest was the only thing that would distract me enough as a toddler to actually eat the food I was being fed from my high chair.
3. I still eat baby food, today, haha. They make for a delectable little snack in between meals. Especially the fruit blended ones. The "Apples, Pears and Bananas" one is a winner with me!
4. I always develop crushes on guys who can either make me laugh or on ones that can sing really well. My latest crush is on the lead vocalist of A Cursive Memory (more so on his voice, he's too young for me! haha!)
5. I miss Reading Rainbow. It was one of my favorite childhood programs, especially since I was such an avid reader (I still am.) I miss the show because the host used to read all of these really cool kids books out loud and show all of the illustrations on camera. It was fun.
   
6. As a kid, and even now, I have this odd drive to collect tiny things (erasers, stickers, Polly pocket.)
   
7. When I first wake up, I like to be alone. I'm usually grumpy for the first hour. I don't like to make eye contact or talk.
   
8. My best "thinking" time of day, is actually late at night. It's when the best ideas come to me, almost in bursts of light.
   
9. I love making sand castles. I can spend hours at the beach, lost in my own little world, doing just that. My specialty? Creating drip castles. Hahah!

Cloud Watching

Have you ever fallen asleep on a blanket after a picnic at the park? I remember waking up to a bright blue sky filled with puffy white clouds. Then I would start to see funny little animals taking shape and shining through. Cloud watching can be just as fun as star gazing. I love the feeling you get as you feel yourself beginning to slip away from any previous pent up stress you may have had, feeling yourself anew, just by watching the shapes take form.

Let's see. OK. Well, for starters.... (1) I cannot feel "awake" until I actually put my contacts on. When I am wearing my glasses I still feel half asleep. Maybe it's the cold water that "wakes" me up? (2) I love ovaltine with milk for breakfast but it has to be just the right amount of milk and ovaltine, it can't be too milky or too chocolate-y, I have it down to a science. (3) I always need some kind of pillow to hug in order to fall asleep at night. I'm very picky about there not being any light either, when trying to fall asleep (or noise!) (4) I don't like walking into my room or the bathroom with shoes on. I think of germs coming off of the street. Ew. (5) I drink coffee, even at home, with a straw. (6) I always count steps when I climb, it's an odd habit.

1) What were you doing 10 years ago? I was 15 so.. I was probably writing another love note to my crush, I was a freshman, he was a Junior, so I would sneak little “love notes” into his locker between classes. He never did write back though… :( it all must have seemed a little too stalkerish; that, and spending almost every weeknight and most weekends hitting local Punk and Ska concerts (from Green Day, LTJ, Save Ferris to MXPX --all of whom I got to meet in person too, it was awesome!)

2) What are 5 things on your to-do list today? Have my usual cup of coffee with International Delight’s Mocha Marshmallow creamer, one sip and I’m in Heaven! Seriously, you should try it! Write an article for the hubby’s website. Continue my game of Restaurant Empire. Order some new sandals for the summer. Find the perfect robe.

3) Snacks you enjoy: Vanilla Yogurt covered raisins (my true weakness!!), Garden Salsa Sun chips, POM tea, pretzels, Fiji water, and apples.

4) Places you have lived: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton… that’s it so far…..

5) What are 5 things you would do if you were a billionaire? Donate to every Charity that helps in the support of stopping Animal abuse. Invest in property in every country or state I adore to spend time in and my own personal jet to take me there at my every whim. Have a huge Shopping Spree at least once a week. Throw the most lavish of Birthday parties each year for myself, my friends and all of my favorite family members. :) Wow I must sound really superficial with those last ones, it's early & without my usual coffee; my mind cannot properly process these answers..
