This rectangular plaza caught my brother's eye, and so we stopped here for another photo opt. I scored this (faux) fur scarf shawl thing a few weekends back and was finally able to work it into a look for the blog. We couldn't leave without spying on the baseball game that was going on a few yards over.

Sweater and Scarf: Vintage. Jeans: Superfine. Wedges: Bakers. Nail polish: OPI, vodka & caviar.

To my surprise- I found AnnaLynne McCord wearing the exact same floral printed tights this morning, via some candids on the fashion spot. I bought them over 3 months ago. I finally dug them out of my closet yesterday and wore them with this eclectic, yet comfortable, ensemble for the first time.

• Dark eyes a la Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) on Gossip girl.

• Patterned tights. AnnaLynne McCord.

• Wooden heels. Buckled boots. Docs.

• Undone hair, in messy, tumbled waves and curls.

• And, yes, that is a surfboard behind me. The hubby took it out yesterday for the "big waves" and forgot to hang it back up in the garage. It's one of "our" long boards and it's also a paddle board.

Body con Stars!

Hey guys. Here's a little body con dress I found while shopping in my closet yet again. It's from 5.7.9. The wedges are Old Navy, and my handbag is Vintage. All jewelry is from The Icing, vintage or Forever 21. Headband from Target. Still feeling a little under the weather. :/ Hoping this outfit post cheers up a rather blue Monday...

Stained Glass Truth, 8.21

It's been a while since I actually left you with another one of my outfit posts. I am so sorry. It's been hectic around here these last couple of days, as I was out of town last weekend and then had to deal with Tropical Storm Fay when I got back. Not very fun. But I'm back home now and online. Hopefully this look will inspire you as you begin your journey back to class, work or whatever. Simple comforts come from cotton!
